We have many different activities, groups and events for children, young people and families together which you can read about on this page, and all of these are supported by the work of our CYF co-ordinator, Rachel.
Baby Jesus Rocks
Over Christmas the school children were busy painting ‘Baby Jesus’ rocks to decorate the paths around Church and to give a lovely festive feel to the Churchyard during Covid times.
They also painted Easter pebbles and prayer eggs to brighten up our Church porch.

Tanworth in Arden Church of England Primary School and Nursery is adjacent to our Church working closely with our Church and the Birmingham Church of England Diocese.
The School’s Christian Mission statement is: The Christian life is like a journey with Jesus into the heart of God. Our mission is simply to take the children by the hand and invite them to join us on the journey, working in close partnership with our neighbouring church and vicar, as together we discover our Christian spirituality. We promise also to help nurture those of other faiths and to give a creative space for those of no faith to explore our distinctive beliefs.
There are about 260 children in Tanworth School and Nursery, most of whom live in the church parish. There is a Church service for the children every Friday in term time. There are bigger Church services for the children and their families about once a month during term time, at Harvest Time, Remembrance, Christmas, Lent, Easter and the end of the school year. Through the School and Nursery, the children, their parents, older siblings and grandparents become part of our church family.
