Rev'd Paul Cudby, BSc, MA.
Paul trained for the priesthood at Ridley Hall in Cambridge.
After 4 years serving his curacy at St Andrew's Church, Bedford, Paul arrived at Tanworth in Arden in July 2006.
Whilst serving the folk at Tanworth, Paul has managed to squeeze in two periods of Study-Leave which have enabled him to write a couple of books. The first, The Shaken Path: A Christian priest's Exploration Of Modern Pagan Belief And Practice, was published by John Hunt Books and can be purchased here. His most recent Study-Leave in 2019 has resulted in another book, The Spirit And The Land, which will be published by Ritualitas books later in 2020.
Paul is a regular contributor of worship and music to the Greenbelt Festival which happens every August Bank Holiday Weekend, and he usually plays a leading role in the Goth Eucharist at this event. He is also one of the founding vision bearers of the Forest Church movement, and his forthcoming book will be a work of theology to resource Forest Church.
He is a keen drummer, and can often be seen in church playing his Djembe, or his Tank Drum. For too many years to count he and his wife Ali, have played in a band together, which is still going and currently re-inventing itself.
His hobbies including road and trail running, cycling and walking (particularly in Scottish hills!).
