face coverings in church

“...And the greatest of these is love.”  St. Paul

Clinical research has demonstrated beyond all reasonable doubt that the use of a face covering protects the people around us if we have Covid-19 but are not showing symptoms.

As Christians, care for each other should be one of our highest priorities.  It is therefore now expected that anyone entering this building will wear a face covering at all times.

Face coverings are available inside.  A small donation is appreciated.

Exemptions

* Anyone under the age of 11, although children are welcome to wear a face covering.

* Those for whom wearing a mask would cause severe distress due to physical or mental illness.

  • Anyone accompanying a person with hearing impairment who relies on being able to lipread your instructions.

An update on opening our building from our Vicar, Paul

Every Wednesday, the church is now open for private prayer in two sessions: 10am-12pm and 5-7pm.

We are also now celebrating the Eucharist or Morning Prayer together on Sunday mornings at our new 9am service.

If you wish to come and participate in one of these services, there will be a sign-up sheet in the church porch for you to reserve a space, as we are so limited on the number of households we can accommodate in the church whilst following social distancing guidelines.

We look forward to seeing all of you at some point over the coming weeks.

For those who are enjoying the online services, please don’t worry, these will continue.
For the time being the service times of 7 or 7.30pm on Wednesday night will remain unchanged.
