May HRH Prince Philip rest in peace and our thoughts and prayers are with HRH The Queen and the Royal Family at this time.
If you would like to add your message, this is the link to the Church of England’s online book of condolence:
The church will be open on Saturday 17th from 9am for private prayer and votive candle lighting.

Church opening is restricted

Due to current safety restrictions, our church is currently open for funeral services, Holy Communion services (on the 3rd Sunday of the month) and services during Holy Week.

The church is also open for private prayer on Wednesday mornings 9am - 12 noon.

Restrictions apply, per Church of England safety guidelines.

Our Food bank for Birmingham City Mission

Your contributions to the food bank are still very much needed and, when the church is closed, you can leave your donations towards this in the church porch.
Thank you for all the food bank donations received so far.

Accessing Services

Worship continues with Sunday 10:30 services either in-church for Communion services (safety restrictions apply) or recorded broadcast.  On Wednesdays, our two services are live-streamed via Facebook at 9:15am and 7pm.

At St Mary Magdalene, we aim to be a welcoming, accessible and inclusive church, putting God, the Divine, at the centre of all we do.

The blessing of our church building and grounds is that spaces for quiet contemplation, meditation, and prayer can always be found in the centre of our village.

We seek to be generous with our welcome, our time, and our creativity, supporting one another and the wider local community in the many different ways that, between us, we have to offer.

We are fellow travellers with Christ on a never-ending journey and welcome any to come and travel alongside us for however long they wish. We don’t have all the answers, and we don’t expect others to either.

Come explore with us, question with us, sing with us, laugh and cry with us, drink tea and eat cake with us.
