We have an active and vibrant range of activities for young people including:

Junior Choir: anyone aged 7+ can get involved with the choir!

Junior Choir practises every Friday early evening, with older members staying on for a while to sing with the adults in part of their rehearsal. This is an excellent opportunity to receive training in the Voice for Life scheme as well as to participate in leading worship. Speak to Anne for more details.

Mind Your Head: a Friday-night youth group for those in year 6+

Mind Your Head is our youth club where we do a load of different stuff, from games and movie nights to bowling and rock-climbing! We have a party at Christmas & take over the Church to run our own alternative service! We also have a big end-of-year summer BBQ! Meetings take place on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of the month. Talk to Wendy for details.

Youth Chat: a Sunday-night discussion group for those in year 9+

Youth Chat is a group for those teens who like to eat biscuits and discuss the BIG questions about life that interest them. We meet fortnightly on Sunday evenings. If you would like to be part of our journey we would very much like to hear from you. For more info, contact our biscuit suppliers, Laura & Steve.

Soul Survivor: summer youth festival for those aged 13+

Every summer we head down to Somerset with other groups in the deanery for the largest youth festival in Europe! Soul Survivor is a five day event where thousands of us gather together to journey with God. As well as main meetings and seminars there are a bunch of venues from chilled out cafes through to awesome gigs! Visit www.soulsurvivor.com/summer to find out more or talk to Steve.

Fusion: a group for university students and those aged 18+

Life after college can be exciting and fruitful but also a real challenge, whether heading for University or starting work. Fusion is our network for those aged 18+ that includes support for those who are away, linking up with students and help finding a Uni Church. In the hols we re-connect through socials and our own cell group where we get to discuss stuff that's relevant to us. Talk to Steve for details.

Fusion is a national student network committed to equipping students, serving Churches and developing student workers. Visit www.fusion.uk.com to find out more.

As well as the Choir, young people are encouraged to contribute to the life of the Church through bell-ringing, joining our team of Messy Angels, helping to lead the River service and getting involved with our Welcome Team.
